Dr. David N. Croop

Cincinnati, OH Dentist

Mt. Lookout Dentistry

I became interested in dentistry while undergoing several dental procedures as a teenager. As a result of those experiences, I have developed a unique practice style and philosophy. In the 28 years I have been practicing dentistry, I enjoy the long term relationships with many patients that I have cared for, some for the three decades I've been practicing. I am very interested in learning from continuing education opportunities. When I am out of the office, I enjoy teaching and advising colleagues in various study clubs, and working with the residents at The University Hospital of Cincinnati Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program.

I am a graduate of DePauw University and Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, I completed my General Practice Residency at St. Luke's Hospital Medical Center in Cleveland. More recently I completed a postdoctoral program at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the Xavier University XLAB entrepreneurial program. I am a member of the Cincinnati Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Seattle Study Club (a renowned international continuing education institution), and the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education Alumni Association. In addition, I have invented and developed several dental instruments and devices that will make dental visits easier for dentists and patients.

Outside of the dental office and the classroom, I enjoy spending time traveling, boating, water skiing, and kayaking with my wife and two sons. We also enjoy spending time with our two adopted rescue dogs.

Dr Ben Gosnell

Dr. Ben T. Gosnell

Cincinnati, OH Dentist

Mt. Lookout Dentistry

I was raised just south of Cincinnati in Union, KY, and live there now with my wife and dog.  I graduated from the University of Kentucky, and then completed the 'Triangle' by attending the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Following graduation, I came home to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University Hospital in Cincinnati-where I met and worked with Dr Croop.  Like him, my philosophy of dentistry involves not just high quality care, but building relationships.  I really enjoy the opportunity to help improve not only the oral health, but the overall well-being of my patients.

A well-balanced lifestyle is important to me.  When away from dentistry, my wife and I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family- including our dog, Hixon. I also like getting outside to camp and hike, and I try to stay active with exercise, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and basketball.

Dr. Dale Siemer

Dr. Dale Siemer

Cincinnati, OH Dentist

Mt. Lookout Dentistry

Who says "You can't go home again?" I have. In fact, I cut my first tooth in our home at the top of Athens Avenue!

A Cincinnati native, I am a graduate of Walnut Hills High School, the University of Cincinnati, and the College of Dentistry at Ohio State University. I spent two years away from "home" with the US Navy Dental Corps stationed in San Diego, CA.

I came home in 1974 to practice just up the street from Mt. Lookout Dentistry with Dr. Bill Black before opening my own office on Paxton Ave. in 1983. A fire in that building on March 29, 2010, forced me to make other arrangements to continue my practice. As some may know, I also see patients in Mt. Carmel.

It is a pleasure to be back here in Mt. Lookout with Drs. Croop, Gosnell and their most capable staff allowing me to treat my patients from this area in a location that better suits their needs.  I am thrilled to see old friends from days gone by. One of the most rewarding aspects of the practice of dentistry is the relationships I have developed over the years. It has been satisfying and fun to watch families grow and be able to treat a couple of generations.

I am a father of 3 and grandfather of 3, I enjoy traveling, gardening, reading and hope to make some time to get my oils back out and pick up painting again.

**A note from Dr. Croop:

Dr. Siemer has retired as of September 2011. We still consider him to be a part of our practice as we are seeing a large number of his patients that we are pleased to welcome into the Mt. Lookout Dentistry family!

My husband and I have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. We share most of our free time with them.

I was born with an interest in dentistry. My grandfather was a dentist and from a very early age, I knew that working in the dental field was my calling.

I have been in the dental profession for at least 38 years working both front and back office, with some breaks away to pursue work in sales and collections.  I have seen the dental profession evolve over the years and can only imagine what's to come.

I have attended UC Raymond Walters for business training and Sinclair Community College for dental education. I have had numerous courses throughout the years to stay current with dental education and health and safety regulations.  I am also a member of AADOM (American Association of Dental Office Managers), Dental Practice Check-up,  Dental Network, Dental Speakers, Dental Practice Management Consultants and Dental Educators, and the K2 Performance Study group (a local group affiliated with Seattle Study Club).

Honors and Awards: I have been recognized as one of the top practice managers in Ohio and ranked in the top 1% of office managers nationwide, with special recognition for practice growth expertise. In addition, I have received numerous achievement awards in my years in dentistry.

I have been lucky to have worked with some of the top dentists in the greater Cincinnati area. Additionally, I have worked with Gary Henschen of Henschen Consulting and Stephanie Daft of Mercer Consultants. Both of whose work is recognized nationally in the dental consulting profession.

Mt. Lookout Dentistry is the cream of the crop!
